Footage that already knows its edit. The shoot is planned around the cut rather than around the gallery, and the grade is done in DaVinci Resolve, so what arrives is graded and matched rather than a card of rushes for somebody else to reconcile.

What camera and lenses does he shoot on?
A Canon EOS R50 with 24mm, 50mm and 17-50mm lenses, a Zhiyun Weebill S gimbal, and an LC500 with a Digitek 250W bi-colour for light. An iPhone XS covers the frames a body cannot reach in time.
Does he grade the footage as well as shoot it?
Yes. The grade happens in DaVinci Resolve, and the shoot is planned around it. He shoots for the cut rather than for the gallery, so the footage that arrives already knows which edit it belongs to and what it has to match.
